The mission of the Beautification Committee is to enhance the quality of life in our community through the planning and management of the Village of Hempstead landscape. The Committee promotes community pride and involvement through beautification projects by forming cooperative partnerships with individual volunteers, schools, civic organizations, businesses, and Village Administration

The Communication committee is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring the club's communications policies, social networking accounts, & electronic discussion groups, as well as recommending new ways for the club to communicate with its members & other interested parties through alternative media. The committee is also responsible for regularly updating & marketing information about club activities.

We are committed to a sustainable future & to improving the environ-mental wellbeing of our community.  We are dedicated to environmental improvements that foster a sustainable future and lead to social and economic improvements in the community. Our mission is to improve the environ-mental quality of our community by partnering with businesses, community leaders and neighbors to work together to create a clean & safe place to live and work for future generations.

The Events Committee is a standing committee with goals of insuring the visibility of the organization. The Events committee aims to provide a schedule of inclusive, evolving, enjoyable events to foster neighborhood pride and camaraderie.

The Fundraising Committee is a standing committee with goals of raising funds to insure the financial viability and stability of The New Hempstead Democratic Club. 

The Issues Committee shall cover a broad spectrum of resident concerns & input. Our mission is to make our community a better place to live. The Issues Committee shall work in tandem with other committees under The New Hempstead Democratic Club.

The Membership Committee is to recruit new members, retain existing members, encourage diversity in the club, and raise awareness about the importance of our political club to the Village of Hempstead. The membership committee keeps track of membership fees and looks for ways to attract new members. Members also create strategies to keep their current members active and involved to preserve their retention numbers. 

Providing a voice to our most vulnerable members of our community. To enhance the quality of life for our seniors. Shall deal with various issues and concerns relevant to seniors who reside in the Village of Hempstead.  For example, transportation, recreation, housing, services, and fair treatment. 

We are committed to empowering and engaging young people to take an interest in the world of politics. Showing them that there is room in the table for their ideas. Promoting mutual collaboration among young people, and our local government.
